After heaving a 3 ton HP across a street, around the house, over a few landscaped walls, my mind was relfecting on this nifty item I saw a while back.
So, are they worth the $50? I know you need 2 people, but it seems this might be way easier than a conventional dolly in some cases.

Its very much needed for example there was this one time in an apartment complex where the crane could only set the pkg unit so far up. The rest of the way the shouler dolly was used to carry it to the destination. Couldnt have done it without it without stressing sooo much.

I think I'll stick with a handtruck.

I wish hand trucks worked better around here. Even the ones with the oversized tires just don't quite cut it sometimes.

And how do you get that forklift on a 3 story building, just to move a couple of units off their curb???
The silly looking forearm forkfift helped a lot when moving 5 ton package units off for a roofing company! Me and one other guy moved them quite easily.

man, we could have used the forearm forklift today, moved 16 c/u's(big carrier 410a units), coils, furnaces,linesets,a/h's, off a small boxtruck through loose gravel down into a basement. sweated my nads off, sure glad the ol back held up!
