Venting Furnance and Water Heater Through Chimney Together

I was wondering if this could be done?, It would be a 80% furnance with a draft inducer blower and a convential water heater. If so I would imagine the water heater would have to up stream from the furnance? Then into a liner.

Yes, see this all the time. Just be sure to select a liner large enough to accomodate the full BTU rating of all the appliances being vented into it.

Could I get by using an aluminum liner?
Would this chart work for sizing?
