When looking at the sight glass on the line with the dryer for ex. and there is bubbles in the sight glass, is this an indication of a problem such as non condensable gasses in the condensor? Or is this normal? Thank you.

site glass can be used to indicate a solid column of liquid to your TXV, which is needed for proper operation. bubbles in your sight glass dont always mean low charge though, ive seen on low ambiant days a site glass may have a bubble, however at a design day 90F out door, the sight glass will be clear, no bubbles, liquid sub-cooled 8-12 degrees. site glass can be used to indicate moisture in a system too. yellow bad green good
