question on swap outs on condensors...how can someone know to just swap out a condensor and not a coil..do u take the evap temp? or?

New condenser...new evaporator coil, it's that easy.

You have to make sure the indoor coil matches the outdoor unit. If they're a match and indoor coil is in good shape, you can use it. It's always best to swap out both though.

Now that we're dealing with 13 seer minimum changing both is highly reccommended for proper performance.

It's OK if you swap with the exact same condenser, as it will be matched with the evaporator.
