i have a blower motor runs for 15 sec on high speed then shuts down. I checked the voltage at the motor when running it is 108volts a/c, when stops it's 116volts. I took the motor out, cleaned EVERYTHING very well, lubed bearings, reinstalled motor and the same thing is happining. when I switch the motor from high to Med or low speed, it will run a bit longer(30-35sec) then shut down.

The motor has an external compasitor. how do i know if it is a compasitor or a motor.(the motor is therm protechted)

I would like to thank everyone in advance for all of your input.

Steve

You are in over your head and are in need of a qualified technician.

And, since you do not follow the site rules, price posting, asking for tech help, and double posting, I am shutting down both of your posts.
Your option is to call a reputable service company to check your unit.
