I am not good with the AC system so please excuse me if I use the wrong terms.
Here is my problem: when I shut off the AC in the house, the condenser fan outside would continue to run for as long as I allow it to, and the ice would start forming around the coil/pipe after the fan runs a few hours. The only way to turn off the fan is for me to unplug the circuit breaker next to the condenser unit (I assume it's the circuit breaker because it cuts off the power as soon as I unplug it). It's troublesome and I don't want the unit to overrun.
Any suggestion or solution to this problem would be appreciated.
