Guys,
I have a Carrier 30gtn060 that it is not loading to 100%. The chiller stops loading at the third step which is approx 85%. After that the unloader of the compressor A should be de-energized to give the 100% capacity but for some reason it is not doing it. I verify the unloader operation in the test mode and it seems to be working fine. Also the leaving water temperature was approximately 10 degrees over the setpoint. Ill apreciate any advise on this,

Did you check your discharge pressure on the controller?

You need a new crankcase heater.

Thaks guys for the information, I have not been on the site since last time how ever I already verify sensors and pressures on the control and they look normal. Otto I had seen some foaming at compressor start up, I have not properly verify the heater but could you explain why is that the heater could affect the compressor loading.
