My coworkers vacum gauge doesnt work and says "temp out of range". Anyone know what this means?

I think that means it's time to throw it in the trash & get a real micron gauge ;)

Yeah he cleaned it with rubbing alcohol last night

It means the guage had been exposed to temps outside the operating range. Have him try to pull the battery, and let it sit a bit. Re-install the battery, and it should reset. If not, it needs to be repaired.
