The only time I watch CNN is when I am in an airport waiting to board a plane. Then again, I can toss all others in that ring, including Fox.

I have no idea why anyone would want to be a journalist or an anchor in this day and age.

If you used to be a "big name" chances are you're gone, especially on the local level.

As soon as you deserve a raise, you're gone for a cheaper option.

Magazines and newspapers are becoming dinosaurs. No one sits down at 11 to watch the news anymore because they can get it all day every day on thier smart phone.

Not exactly an upwardly mobile industry at this point.

Its not about reporting the news anymore, its about ratings and creating it.

Truly dread, as this is supposed to be a tool of the people to police the government. Now it is a government tool to keep the masses in constant fear.
