Anybody else use the Bitzer press/temp app. Just got it a few weeks ago and I am finding it very handy to be at my fingertips at all times.

Someone showed me that at the SWRE RSES conference.
I've been using it ever since.

Is it for Apple? I can't seem to find it on the Android market, but these are the apps I use.

HVAC for formulas and theory
HVACmobile PT chart
Dupont PT chart calculator
Convertpad for converting units of measurement to other units.

I also bookmarked the Wayne's brain ac analyzer and duct calculator and put an icon to each on my home screen.

Thanks....for some reason I was typing in Blitzer instead of Bitzer...guess I need to make a trip to the eye doctor.

Great app. I do get some looks when I pull out my phone on the job. That is, untill I show them what it can do. Old people :)

Bitzer app is a standby.

Of course, my PT relationship is normally on my DRSA, but it helps to have the PT app when talking people through problems.

I agree....it is very easy to explain PT relationship when everything is on one screen, start at the top (pressures) and work your way down through line temps, sat temps, subcool and superheat, and DT...they can see the math being done.

One reason I love my AK900.

I meant that I use the app when helping others I solve a problem.

They give me refrigerant and pressure and I use the app to look it up.

No.

I've already got 3 or 4 pt apps.

Can't see needing another

Ok.

Downloaded the DuPont app.

Dislike it. Bitzer is the superior app.

I have several different P/T Apps, but the one I find myself using most often is 'Refrigerants' by Hamway. Just a Ford v Chevy thing, I guess.

Does anyone have the "HVAC Fault Finder" by emerson?

I need the APK, it's free on google market/play. For some reason I can't download it.

Thanks!

Johnstone also makes an app that has a PT chart, duct sizing and cap tube calc. The Bitzer app is nice. The ability to select common refrigerants you work with to only show on the list makes it a quick tool to use.

I use Bitzer and HVACBuddy. Two great apps.
