I see these a/c units in my church that are Carrier, fairly new, long rectangular shape, nothing goes thru the wall, no drain, yet they cool the place nicely, I looked for their name at Carrier.com........no luck.......what do they do with the condensation? gotta go somewhere.

Okay,I'll bite. Are they on the roof? Are they on the ground?
Unless someone has designed the miracle cure, they have to be attached somehow. There has to be a minimum of at least three connections to the building. It's either a lineset and power or two flex lines(transition) and power.

Could be mini splits, and your just not seeing the lines.

Believe me I am not kidding you, they are on the exterior wall up high where the wall meets the ceiling, I went outside and looked, saw no drain line or anything, it's driving me nuts(and I don't have far to go) I do not see any drain line.....nothing going outside, they may be connected electrcally but there is nothing that handles the condensation.

Ductless Split (http://www.commercial.carrier.com/commercial/hvac/product_description/0,,CLI1_DIV12_ETI434_PRD32,00.html)
There's a drain somewhere. There must be a drain.

The drain ( and refrigerant lines ) is probably concealed inside the wall.

maybe its a ptac unit. if it is it is a bigger window unit, but goes thru the wall instead of thru the window.
the condensate just drains to the outsite section and evaporates.

minisplit system with lineset running up thru attic to roof or condenser location.Ive seen system with mini condinsate pumps pumping water thru tubing.AND if you did see the drain and linset running along the wall inside the building.LOL wall of shame if you ask me
