Superheat and Subcooling

Hey,
I cant remember from last year but how do you know what your superheat and subcooling should be for 410a and R22 systems? Its been driving me nuts. Thanks guys

Most R-410A equipment utilizes TXVs and, therefore, you must charge them using subcooling. The recommended subcooling amount for R-410A is also 10° F to 15° F with a 3° F tolerance.

The days of grabbing the suction line with one hand and your crotch with the other then closing the charging valve when the pressure is to much to bear, are over :-)

On all new installs of 410a I run a QIV test for cool smart to make sure the refrigerant level, air flow, and voltages are all in an accetpable range. Thats exactly what they give you for a range. 3 degrees +\- the subcooling goal. They also want a superheat reading which i believe is +\- 5 or 7. The superheat goal is not on the nameplate like the subcooling. So I need to find out how to get the superheat goal. I think theres a chart out there I just need to find it. Thanks for the help
