So,
Bought a house and the outside unit of the HVAC system was stolen.
The inside air handler and backup heater is only 4 years old.
I have the model of the inside unit, but don't know and can't find out what will work or what is a compatible outside unit?
The airhandler is a Trane 2TGB3F3OA1000AB
Thanks for any assistance

Should do fine with a A-S/Trane 2TWB3024 or 3030 as the sizing dictates. I personally don't like to mismatch with a heat pump.

This is the model of the coil 2TXCB036BC3HCAA
They are trying to put in a retro fit heat pump outside since the AC inside is R-22
Do you know the recomended CFM is for the 2TXCB036BC3HCAA?

It is up to the size of the heat pump put on it. Best bet is run around 400 CFM per ton so if they use a 2.5 ton for example, 1000 CFM.

That would depend on what size outdoor unit is connected to it.

Well,
They are calling it a Retro Fit because the inside unit is R-22 and they can't get an R-22 unit anymore. So, I am not 100 % sure what they are putting in for the outside unit.. I remember him saying it had a -2 in the name as well as a 13. I am going thru Lowes so this is a sub-contractor.. which I am not at all impressed with....
To top off not being given the exact model he is installing, now he wants to bust up some of my foundation to make it easier to get into the crawl space.
I told him ... NO.. you are not tearing up my foundation.....

Yeah,
We told him we just wanted an outside unit, the inside coil and air handler is only 4 yrs old... so he is putting a retro fit outside unit.. is a pretty small house and I only plan to use it infrequently... we have a wood stove and live right next to a river.. so it doesn't get overly hot in Indiana anyways..
