DeNiro made the remark at a New York City fundraiser on Monday attended by Michelle Obama. “Callista Gingrich. Karen Santorum. Ann Romney. Now do you really think our country is ready for a white first lady?" De Niro asked a cheering crowd of Democrats. "Too soon, right?"

Is "democrat" the Latin term for Racist?

and herein lies the problem:



“De Niro is rich enough he probably doesn't notice the price of gasoline. He's successful enough he probably doesn't notice the unemployment rate. As a Hollywood actor, he might well be shortsighted enough he doesn't understand what it might do to our children and our grandchildren."

and herein lies the problem:

Funny maybe De Niro wants to run for the Presidency after Obama "finishes" his next term (hope not) since De Niro has a Black wife he would not be breaking the precedent set by Obama:grin2:.

That was the bottom line of his joke but I'm sure most folks on this forum aren't aware of it but I'm sure he had his wife with him at the time and they all had a good laugh. Just be glad when we don't have any Democrats or RINOs in office for long time. As Paul Harvey used to say "the rest of the story". Thank you, thank you very much

To me it just sounded like a dumb joke, not really funny either. I cannot imagine how anyone could be offended.
