Aah, another natural drywall birthing. In all my years in this field I can only claim a partial drywall birth.

Hate to admit, but done it twice. Once with my hand and once with my foot. Hurt my goodies when I straddled it. I actually went back several times for the drywall repair work.

i havent done it yet....only because once the point of no return comes i just spread eagle and take the pain. better than getting yelled at by a cust. that being said i know i will sooner or later.

did that once when i was 11 or 12 yrs old. doing ductwork in a new addition, lucky for me it had been rocked but not taped yet. we just pulled that sheet down and nailed up a new one. don't know if contractor ever figured out what happened to that missing sheet!!

I've done it and yes I fell all the way through with the customers bad indoor blower motor in hand. I ended up in their bathroom next to the toilet(good thing nobody was using it at the time) Got my neighbor who does drywall and painting for a living to go over and fix it. After he did the drywall repair. He ended up scoring a whole house re-paint from them.
