I'm refraining from using the S word.

And of course the POS POTUS calls her on the phone to show his support, which is nothing more than showing his lack of moral standards, once again, and sticking his nose in an area that the POTUS should not stick his nose in.

You got that right. I actually support Rush on this. Why should or tax payer dollars go for recreational sex by promiscuous women and men. They should pay for their fornication themselves and not put us further in dept for their fun.

Georgetown is a Catholic university and Obama's health care plan wants the school to pay for fortification by its students. I would think they would be outraged as I a taxpayer am also.

I think Rush's comment was right on target. That is if you want us to pay for your promiscuity then tape your fornications and let us the taxpayers watch for free. Obama is no Christian but anti Christian in my opinion. Thank you very much

Rush was right about his opposition to it, but the name calling was over the line. He does that to attract attention. Too bad because this kind of stuff takes credibility away from an often brilliant commentator.

And Obama should have stayed out of it too. He's as much of an attention whore as Rush is.

What gets me is all the media attention. All to do about nothing IMO. Sarah Palin and Bauchman were, and are, called far worse names nearly on a daily basis. Pure un-adulterated hypocrisy to the highest magnitude.

Your right of course but one or two words said in haste over the millions of right on comments he has made over the years every day should surly be forgiven.

Just like we are asked to forgive Obama all the time over his comments and Hillary's comments and fabrications. Like the time Hilary lied by saying she was "under sniper fire" when she visited US troops in Bosnia in 1996.:.02:

If Rush would of stayed on point and just objected to the tax payer, paying for contraception then he would have made a commendable argument. But by calling her a slut and suggesting that she tapes it makes him look like a nut IMO. Rush can somewhat get away with it as he is little more than a shock jock but Any pub candidate that supports Rush on his comments risks losing alot of female votes. I believe in general, Rush hurts the party more than he helps. And Obama read that and will be seen by many(especially females) as chivalrous in coming to the aid of a female.

Every once in a while I will listen in for a while. I am always amazed at how much his comments are misrepresented. He will play back what someone else said he said, and then play back what he said. Many times they are flat out lies. In this case though, he did call her a slut....so what. Bill Maher called Palin the C word, I guess that's ok.

Personally, I think that, hope that, most women would see Fluke for what she is, an admitted tramp that needs 3 grand a year for contraceptives, and want's all of the rest of us to pay for it....a self serving socialist. Her parents must be real proud of her, needing that much money so she can get herself off.

Pregnancy is NOT an illness. Devices and drugs to 'prevent' it are NOT healthcare measures--vaccines prevent illnesses, antibiotics treat illnesses, pain treatments etc. treat an injury or illness...I see no reason what-so-ever why any health insurance should cover 'birth control' drugs or devices just as I see no reason for viagra or cialis type coverage. If you are of child bearing age either don't have sex if you don't want to have a child (or the other approved methods of the Church) or use condoms and take your chances that way. If the tax payers are forced to pay for her sexual experiences then the tax payers should be able to use her services. There should be a line around her block.

How long before we have to pay for people's booze, illicit drugs, etc.?

I wasn't going to call her a 'slut' per se but certainly the term 'whore'' fits her admitted behavior. In typical fashion, the news media tries to make more out of one word or term used rather than the substance of the arguement. Rush was right, she is a lazy scumbag wanting something for nothing.

It's time this country told these dead beats where to go.

Forgive me but I don't think of Georgetown as a free college. In fact, it is generally thought of as a prestigious school that ain't cheap. So, if she can afford the school, why can't she afford her personal habits? Either go to a cheaper school and live within your means or do like the rest of the country and do with less.

20 years ago this would not have even come up. Just goes to show how quickly the liberals have destroyed morality and values.

Get a job? She already has one--the oldest profession in the world. If you figure in classroom and study time with how much contraception she claims she's going through, the spends more time on her back than at the books and now we're going to pay her for it.

I'm sure they'll just add it to her student loans. Then, once she graduates and gets a federal job, the government will forgive her loans and it will all be free courtesy the taxpayers.

Any advertisers who pull their ads from Rush are shooting themselves in the foot. He has the best advertising cost/ benefit ratio around. Dopes.

Just ran a little bit of math:According to a Bing search law school is 3 calendar years long or 1096 days(1095 + 1 day for leap year) cost of a condom $.75 give or take, and she claimed $3000 is the expense, and here is what I came up with $3000/.75= 4000 items, 4000/1096= 3.649 So is she saying law students are engaging in sexual activity almost 4 times a day? How are they finding time to become lawyers? And a birth control patch is approx. $50 a month according to my source(wife) so we have $50 X 36 months= $1800.

America will be so outraged by this that congress will have time to make ownership of even a pellet gun illegal.

Most americans wont even know what happened till they answer their door and are met with a rifle but to the face by the stormtroopers coming to get our guns.

Obama is a muslim-christian. They believe Christ did not die , but will come back to repent and tell everyone HE was wrong and the drunken murderous, whoremonger muhammed is right.( That would be the still dead muhammed)
Obama has clearly stated in interviews that Jesus is not the only way to heaven. That disqualifies him from being a follower of Christ
This is about religious beliefs and forcing others to follow them. The Scripture refers to a female who sleeps around as a whore. If she gets paid, she is also a prostitute. Guys who go after whores are called fools and whore mongers.
As for her financial needs, why doesn't she just charge enough to cover expenses. It's a supply/demand situation. If she isn't worth it, she should do what any business person would do and close her legs, I mean doors.

It is chris-lam if you follow it. But some people, like obama bin laden want to pretend they are a"traditional" christian. They want to pretend they have nothing to do with islam. It is all about deception. He says he is a christian but that Christ isn't the only way to heaven.
And it is not just what he says. It is what he does that shows what he believes. He is on tv today saying what a true friend he has been to Israel. Anything but! Why has he ordered all the land given back to the arabs prior to to 67 invasion of Israel? The dog has promised half of Jerusalem to the arabs. It isn't going to happen.
Why does he order all references to Christ ( pictures, symbols, etc.) covered up when he appears at catholic/christians schools.

Women can take hormones for a lot of medical conditions such as preventing ovarian cysts from occurring monthly so that is a medical condition--not contraception. This woman is talking about me paying for "the pill" not for health reasons but birth control. She's also talking about me paying for the "morning after" pill, which can be construed as inducing an abortion on a fertilize egg even before implantation.

This is NOT about health care, it is about liberals attempting to ram down the throats of those who don't share their beliefs, issues that are anathema to those Christians. It is about using immoral and unscrupulous people and liars to sway public opinion with false information all to get more government control of our lives, eliminate our religious freedoms and take out money.

You do realize that are exceptions. My wife takes very aggressive Lupus treatments that could cause serious birth defects. They are actually the same drugs that cancer patients use. I guess the catholic church would prefer use having deformed kids that we didn't want or not have sex. They actually recommend 2 forms of birth control. Her disease is well controlled and we would love ot have another kid, but feel it woudl be irresponsible to just leave it to "gods will" and roll the dice on if the kid is healthy or has major issues. We may have simply been blessed and won vegas odds with our first and only child (didn't know she had Lupus until after she gave birth).

Plus birth control helps regulate menstral cycles and makes them far less severe. It's also considered to be the primary factor in allowing women more equal freedom and power in society. I consider birth control so dramatically seperate from abortion that it's not even in the same realm of discussion.

Ultimately by limiting the ava8ilability of a drug, you are restrictign the choice of peopel to make a decision on their own beliefs.

Honestly, on the same token, I think all treatments for obesity shouldn't be covered. This is a lifestyle problem that complicated by less than ideal genetics. I persnally have fluctuated from 160-205lbs the last 4 years and I could easily get to 250lbs if wanted and be a big fat slob. I simply a matter of discipline in my diet and fighting the tendency in thsi country ot assume more is better and eat huge servings.... that are 3-4X what you actually need. Literally at most reasaurants, you can share a meal and still take home at least 1-2 servings. It's f***** rediculous.

So should we ban IVF and other fertility treatments too? Where do we stop? IF a woman is born with defective ovaries and that can be corrected with surgery, is it a form of birth control if she chooses not to?

IF a cancer treatment makes me sterile, is that a form of birth control? Shold I have been left to die from cancer? But if I don't seek treatment, isn't that suicide... now I go to hell for that. Gee, I just discovered a paradox. If I save some sperm can I use that for IVF? OF course, how can I save sperm since jacking off is sinful in the first place.

Some religions just aren't capable or willing to address, realistically, a lot of modern realities in medicine.

No. Actually, it's people who do whatever they want, when they want, and they want someone else to pay for it. They almost always find one single, legitimate, innocent exception ( kinda like your wife ) and then use that without conscious to force their real agenda on everyone else. Always blaming others in a self-righteous way while accusing the "opposing" party of the same.

As far as obesity goes , you know nothing of it. After 50 year old man tried to rape my daughter, she unexplainably gained a lot of weight. It is under control now.

And we didn't ask you to pay for it.

A minimum amount of time spent researching Sandra Fluke reveals that she is not exactly the victim that the left would like us to believe. She is a fan of Rachel Maddow and Ed Schultz. By the way, where was the outrage from the left when he called Laura Ingraham a slut? Anyway Ms. Fluke insists on following the lead of Nancy Pelosi in referring to her speech as "testimony before Congress" when it was, in fact, a speech made to a gathering of select Democrats who already agreed with every word she said before she ever opened her mouth. Ms. Fluke is merely another wanna-be activist who is making the most of her 15 minutes of fame.

definition of slut: Slut or slattern is a term applied to an individual who is considered to have loose sexual morals or who is sexually promiscuous.

The shoe fits so why is everyone up in arms? Rush could just as easily have called her a 'whore' and been correct according to the information she provided about her lifestyle choices.

The only controvesy there should be here is why we're even discussing paying for people's personal lifestyle choices.

Still waiting to hear the outrage and calls for dropped advertising against David Letterman and Bill Maher......

You missed the point, my friend.

Sandra Fluke is not a victim. Further research indicates that she is also not a wanna-be activist as I incorrectly stated. She is a very active and prolific pro-abortion/women's rights activist. Her choice to enroll at Georgetown appears to be based on the fact that the school does not provide the services that Ms. Fluke seems to be upset about. If this is true, then she is now accomplishing what she originally set out to do which has little if anything to do with obtaining a law degree. If she were truly interested in attending a college that provided free birth control, she would have applied elsewhere.

Then again, liberal policy dictates it is ok to call someone a "tea bagger", "right wing nut job", racist, Religious nuts, etc., etc. since the liberals own the rights to what is fair and what isn't. They can use any word, term or implication they want with impunity because they own the media. Doesn't make them right.

The OP was not about Rush, it was about a POTUS sticking his nose somewhere it does not belong....again. And the video of the tramp. Rush was a sideshow that I never brought up. The title of the thread is Tramp, not Rush call Fluke a Slut.

As mentioned by myself and others, it's pure hypocrisy as the left engages in this sort of name calling, and worse, regularly. If lefties expect to have any respect or credibility they should stand up and shout out and condemn such behavior no matter which side of the isle it comes from.

And then we have a President that call's a press conference over the matter. What a complete piece of work. All the problems this country has and he has time to yap his mouth off about this? "Civil discourse". Yeah right. No party is more un-civil than the Democrats and Communists in the Democratic party.

Final parting shot for this post; if Rush had the influence over the GOP that the left continuously spout's off about, the GOP would be allot stronger, allot less Rino's would be holding office, and the country would be in better shape, as would be our personal freedoms.

She is also a liar. She testified that it cost her over $3,000 for three years for birth control. Target which is only 1.8 miles away from her dorm sells a month supply of pills for $9.00 which works out to $324 for three years worth of pills and then there is a planned parent hood clinic only 2 miles away where she could get them free.

No I am saying that she's promiscuous based on the stated need for $1000 worth of contraceptives in a single calendar year.

But my OPINION (as you have already pointed out) has nothing to do with the issue at hand which is; why should tax payers be burdened with her PERSONAL choices?

Last I heard, pregnancy was not a disease. Thus HEALTH care, rightly, should also not pay for her personal choices. Just like it generally won't pay for procedures considered "elective".

Personally, I don't care what she does. What I do care about is the use of my money to support her PERSONAL choices.

Health care pays for everyones personal choices either in premiums or taxes. So logically wouldn't it make sense to provide the birth control rather than provide for the alternative? Of course the hard line could be taken that as a country "we" will not pay for any program that might benefit society and go back to the every man (woman) for themselves, survival of the fittest and all that, a kind of Mad Max world.

Socialism, Marxism and communism is what all this leads up to along with the destruction of our standard of living and freedoms. It just sucks period. I shall cut to the chase now.

Um no, not even close. It doesn't seem like you've even read the replies to this topic.

It's simple, as I said PREGNANCY IS NOT A DISEASE. It should not be covered by HEALTH care (unless demonstrated that the pregnancy IS difficult and might be harmful to child, mother, or both. That's an entirely different matter.)

But that is the excuse put forth. BECAUSE health care does not cover it, then taxpayers should.

I have news for you. A healthy society means HAVING babies and families, so that is the SOCIETAL NORM. Hey, I'm a non-conformist myself... I'd be the first to admit it. But I don't ask YOU to pay for it.

In case you haven't noticed, our population growth would be NEGATIVE without immigration, especially in the age of working moms. We need MORE families and babies, not less.

But if you are like me and not always in step with the mainstream, great! Welcome to the club and let me shake your hand!
