Can anyone provide me with their thoughts on coil cleaners? Which are the best ones on the market, easiest to use, least caustic? etc.

I have heard about some non-acid cleaners that are supposed to be easier on the technician to apply and handle, and are easy on the environment. Are they any good?

Their are so many on the market I don't think anybody could use them all! As far as non acid I like triple D. Its a heavy degreaser that is self rinsing. I always rinse it off and can be used for Evaps and Condensers.

Im not sure I have ever seen an acidic coil cleaner, but if they are out there I would stay away from them for more than one reason. I have used probly 12 or so alkaline based cleaners, most work pretty well, but I think I like triple D the best.

Specialty chemicals Super Foam works great, have to be careful how you use it.

If it says self-rinsing always rinse anyways.
