I am looking at purchasing some equipment that can come with these controllers factory installed. The Invensys site is very limited in information.
Can these controllers be configured with Lonmaker and do they have plug-ins? Is it necessary to purchase the Workplace Tech Tool to configure the controllers? Anyone have a ballpark figure of the cost of the software? eg. under $500 ... under $2000 etc.
Thanks

You can use LonMaker to commission these, but you need Workplace Tech to program them. Depending on the revision of firmware in the controller and WP Tech, you might be able to upload the program. Otherwise you will need a copy of the program that is loaded in the controllers.
List price is too high to mention, but you will need to purchase from an Invensys rep. They use a software encryption scheme that is tied into the PC hardware.

No not really Rover and Summit are way easier to get than Workplace Tech. I tried purchasing earlier this year, called people in 8 different states, no go.
BTW Rover and Summit are way cheaper also.

The controllers are no longer Invensys made, they’re TAC/Schneider Electric and their pricing is going the way of all their products; high, hard to get, and hard to get reliable support.
