This is a want ad from Craigslist in Houston; this is a local company of long standing and one of the largest around. They are constantly looking for techs because they have a huge turnover due to the pressure to sell. Consequently the quality of their work is subpar and very expensive and no they are not a franchise or part of a national chain.

We are currently hiring experienced Selling HVAC techs WITH AN HOURLY GUARANTEE D 40 HOUR WEEK UNTIL OUR AC SEASON BEGINS!
During this training time, you will experience a level of career development that no other company in the city is offering. You will learn our state of the art computerized pricing system, new trends and developments in the AC industry, fine tune your selling skills and learn our best practices through our exclusive **** ***** University.
When the AC season kicks off, you will convert to our commission plan that offers increased commissions on service and equipment and our top producers will be eligible for a base salary that is untouchable in our industry!
Employees hired in February will be eligible for our Health insurance effective March 1st!
Qualified applicants will have an EPA card, TX state registration, Valid Texas Driver's license with a good driving record, and clean criminal background.
