Is in a dismal state in this country. Docs and DEA have everybody who takes VICODIN as a felonious drug seeker. Had a root canal done last month. The dentist told me to take over the counter tylenol. Refused to prescribe anything because a local doctor had just been busted by the DEA!!

I don't see this. Looked more like a political which hunt that lasted 3 years. You should be more concerned that a DA can do this if you are a republican or democrat and even some liberals were wise enough to see this for what it was.
The same people that went after Bush for listening to terrorist were screaming bloody murder that this government invasion or privacy extended to their private lives and some of them like brain donor acmanko have shown that here. Now you have a example of that happening and they want to play the politics card. Why aren't they hypocrites now?

When I listen to Rush, he comes across as more of an Independent then a Republican. He has been beating up on the Republicans for their stance on Illegal immigration as well as the Democrats. As far as idiots, like James, that need my services as a brain doctor, a good doctor knows when one is terminal or not, and there is still some, although minute, probability his condition can be reversed.

The point is-- Limbaugh is a hypocrite of the first order. Calling for sever punishment for drug offenders even while he was feeding his own habit, now he cuts a deal with the prosecutor. Another public figure that should now just go away.
James 3528
04-29-2006, 11:52 AM
The prosecutor has the option to "cut the deal" or not, not the defense.
After 3 years, he had no case. That is the point. Try to pay attention.
chillbilly
04-29-2006, 01:56 PM
I don't think Rush is any more hypocritical than some of these other people I see in the news all the time and I sure as hell don't think he should "go away".
He makes a helluva' lot more sense than Howard Stern and Howie is still on the air peddling the same ridiculous smut he's always reeked of.
Rush really pissed me off when he made that remark about Jerry Garcia when he died, calling him "just another dead doper".
I never forgot it.

A guy fools around and gets crucified because he does not want to admit to his wife, "Geez honey, I let this fat chick polish my pepperoni". So spend a lot of money to try and use that and other crap as a reason to have him impeached.
You have an outspoken right winger, who in my opinion has spread misinformation and influences a lot of your countryman, endures a lot of scruitiny for drug abuse, what is the big deal?

To even compare the responsibility of the President with that of a talk show host denotes a perception problem but I will give it a shot.
One was suppose to be doing his job in a room that some of the other Presidents wouldn't even pull their coats off in and during this period of time we had soldiers being dragged dead through the streets of Somali, Ships and Embassy's, WTC 1 attacked and there was that little thing in Kosovo. Not only that, you have left out Titanic size information about what went on which again is a perception problem but that was necessary because really all you are doing is passing off generalization as fact.
William Jefferson Clinton was not under investigation for Monica but for you to tell the real story about how the time line went would in itself expose what a loony comparison to Rush you made, actually is. Ken Star who investigated the President did so at the pleasure of Clinton's own Attorney General. Ken Star could of pursued the Castle Grandee deal that William was knee deep into that removed his buddy and at the time who was the Governor of Clinton's home state from office. Did you catch that? A Governor who was mixed up in this was removed from office and he didn't get a blow job. There were a other people jailed and indicted also that had nothing to do with Monica. There were other successful prosecutions during the investigation that really prosecuted Clinton on lesser counts. Yes, talking about Monice means you don't have to talk about the facts. Clinton is lucky she came along and with the rest of the people that don't sweat the facts.
Oh yeah, the other guy is a talk show host

I feel kinda bad for him since it is a personal problem and now it is public for him ... I am not sure there is a point.
Woody drugs should be OTC anyway I mean WTF, we actually pay our own tax dollars so those on public assistance can do the wild thing? Get a job and buy your own woody!
As for the rest of it, since no one here was involved, no one knows what happend, how it happend, or why it happened and the net result is we never will.
Good luck to Rush and his family as they work through an embarassing situation that not one person on this site ever needed to know.

We do know that Cline first came to the tabloid some two years ago seeking to sell her story about Rush.
When the paper’s editors told her she didn’t have a story until there was an official police investigation, she came back to them when that investigation was triggered.
Cline reportedly received a cool $250,000 for the dirt
Cline, by going to the papers, also may have compromised the state’s inquiry into pushers and doctors doling out these prescription drugs for big money.
Yes it is easy. I bet that is $250,000 the NATIONAL ENQUIRER WOULD LIKE BACK...BAHAHAHAHAHA

Cline and her husband, David, became confidential informants last December in a sweeping investigation tracking 450,000 illegal black-market pills in Palm Beach County. The probe resulted in several arrests, including a couple who ran a mom-and-pop pharmacy in suburban Lake Worth who may have been the source of black-market pills allegedly purchased by Limbaugh. Investigators in the search warrant credited information from the Clines.
