Got a letter from our local school notifying us that they will do all they can to prevent any problems on moday, May 1st, the day of the great american boycott.

All those who are opposed to federal immigration laws are asked to participate in the boycott by not attending work, school, sales and buying.

WTF??

We should have a great illegal imigration boycott. No free medicaire, social programs, day labor employment etc..

Screw these people who want to change our laws to favor ILLEGAL immigration. They need to be deported and enter this country legally.

Looks like it will get uglier before this straightens out.

Support the minute men!

only in America do 'illegals' believe they have a 'say' in how the country should be run.

anywhere else, they would be ignored and/or shipped out.

...I say...start SHIPPING!

Yeah damit...I'm gonna protest this protest by illegally crossing into Mehico and demanding my rights! Then once I get my welfare check and foodstamps I'll eat and buy some booze then cross right back over; all the while flying the American Flag. Should be back home in time for dinner...unless something goes wrong...

Buy America Back!
Listening to talk radio today on the way home from a business trip, I hear Mike McConnell talking to Mark Christopher about a great ideal to counter the Latino May 1st economic boycott in the U.S.

We need to do 2 things: #1. Take note of which businesses suffer without their illegal labor and boycott them from May 1st forward.
#2. ( and most important ) BUY BUY BUY!
Prove to our politicians who really is the life blood of our economy. If you are planning to buy anything in the near future, buy it on May 1st! It doesn’t matter if it’s a big ticket item like a car, computer or big screen TV, or a even a tube of toothpaste, buy it on May 1st. Let’s make May 1st an even bigger shopping day than the day after Thanksgiving.

Even the Mexican government is concerned about the results. So much so, that they are now involved. Seems everyone is doing "something about it", except for regular 'ole American's who are working, doing "those jobs that American's won't do".

I was going out this week to buy a new lawn mower and a new gas grille; those purchases will now be put off until May 1st. I would encourage any American that wants to do something to counter this protest, to go out on May Day and purchase items that you had planned to buy in the next week. Just put it off until May 1st. Go out to a restaurant, buy food for the food shelter, go to a movie. Wife is not doing her grocery shopping until May Day and neither is several other folks that I have already promoted this to.

As Mark Christopher says on his web site, "Remember! May 1st, 2006 is the day we BUY AMERICA BACK! ... Because May Day is Pay Day!!!

May Day has long been a focal point for demonstrations by various socialist, communist, and anarchist groups.

In the 20th century, May Day received the official endorsement of the Soviet Union; celebrations in communist countries during the Cold War era often consisted of large military parades and shows of common people in support of the government.

Just goes to show you that the american government is a socialist institution. An inefficient one at that.

Socialism in a nutshell

In a socialist society the means of production are owned by the workers rather than by a rich minority of capitalists or functionaries. Such a system of ownership is both collective and individual in nature.

It is collective because society can control production unlike capitalism and because production is for the common good rather than for individual profit.

I'm not really sure anymore.

I think we are living in an anarchic capitalistic/socialist nation.

I pay as much in taxes as someone in a socialist country does, but I don't get any benifits for it. The rich and the poor are getting paid by the government, and everyone else in between is getting squeezed.

The benifits of socialism for the rich while enjoying the benefits of capitalism.

Socialism for the poor.

Anarchy for the middle class.
