This is a stunning chart for perspective:

His spending has reached insane proportions. His new budget proposal includes taxing the wealthy, we already knew that, but it was supposed to reduce the debt or deficit or some such right? No. The added taxes do not even keep up with the increased spending. Not even with the draconian military spending cuts. Where is all of this money going? Some of it goes to failed solar panels and electric cars, too bad gas prices are being predicted to hit 4 or 5 this summer. Pipelines or drilling, he is not going to support any of that on private funding. But he will toss your hard earned money away at failed rainbow and tree-hugging cinderella adventures. I hope this thieving idiot turns into a pumpkin at the next election.

It says this too:

To help put that colossal sum of money into perspective, if you take our deficit spending under Obama and divide it evenly among the roughly 300 million American citizens, that works out to just over $17,000 per person

That is pretty stunning. PER PERSON? How about per taxpayer on the IRS feed-list? That is going to make us taxpayers easily on the hook for 34,000$ in debt!

Kinda a catcth-22. Only way we can get the money to pay the debt is to steal it from the rich. We can get the money. I do not doubt that for a minute, but we will kill the goose that lays the golden egg.

This is a downward spiral.

I don't think the rich have the money to pay the debt. If you took the net earnings from everyone who makes a million dollars per year or more and combined it and taxed it at 100 percent, the total would be less than the annual deficits we are running. I think the last number I saw was around 800 billion dollars. That's all the millionaires and billionaires combined. You can't even pay the deficit let alone touch the debt.

I guess they could sell off all their assets too. Oh wait, who's going to have the money to buy them?

It's pure madness.

It seems as we are right now swirling down the drain with unsustainable debt.

When the Republicans routed the Democrats from the House in 2010, I thought a campaign promise was to attack ObamaCare and dismantle it. On that subject now all you hear is crickets chirping.

They let Obama propose his payroll tax holiday without any spending cuts to offset the revenue.

Boehner will issue a couple of rebukes to Obama's policies and then nothing, no action or follow-up. Wacko San Fran Nan Pelosi would issue scathing statements and then FOLLOW UP with action. She did not care how she got bills passed and rammed left wing crap thru the house. Our "leaders" care more about appearing to reach across the aisle. During the last showdown, all DC was afraid that the govt. would be shut down. IMO, that would be the best thing for the country. It would be much cheaper for us that pay taxes to have the politicians meet once per year and take the rest of the year off with pay.

We have an aircraft battle group in the Strait of Hormuz right now trying to piss off Iran. We are also attempting to stifle their ability to sell oil. Nothing like a little war to keep the Obama regime in power.
