I have a Enting water softener around 20 years old. I've been doing some cleaning maintenance and notice that the valve check didn't have the ball that was in the parts manual. Should there be a ball?
I also did the iron out cleaning and wondered when would be a safe period to start drinking the water? The system has run 3 regenerations and the water smells fine but the brine tank smells like the iron out. I did the iron out with almost no salt. Thanks
