You must be very proud of your family. Once again, Oklahoma makes another great contribution to our nation. Okies in Oregon hunting for mushrooms.... What could possibly go wrong? :D

Well as you can see, my barn is getting pretty lean, so I had to send out the troops, but I asked them not to eat any until they got back. :grin2:

I am figuring RV living in the park 101; If your hungry, don't go hunting mushrooms. No pecans. Not any type of berry. We need to find us a job and go from there.

WTF is wrong with people? "I will go to Oregon. I will live off of the land. I will find mushrooms." LOL! Somebody needs to kick that guys aho up around his neck. :D

Updated info:

It turns out they were thinking about eating the family dog with them. Not the pack of dogs they had left at the RV, just the dog that was with them. They have many dogs. We were all surprised to hear this. I personally would have never guessed they were dog owners. Keep in mind, they are mushroom hunters, so I missed the whole 'puppy-mill' connection. I admit my oversight, but I think it is forgivable.

The woman actually has a job. Nurse or something. Hubby hunts mushrooms. Oddly he does not eat them himself, I am not passing judgement on that as I am no big fan of mushrooms myself. The 25 year old "child" still lives at home. With his parents in the RV.

I am thinking it might have been a mistake to go looking for them, lost and all.

Silly! You don't eat mushrooms, you boil them down and mix grape koolaide with it, then drink as much of it as you can.

The one with the piece of wood on the bow replacing the aluminum that should be there.

Clearly not related to me. Any of my relatives would have already have eaten the dog and never made any mention of it. Whether they include the 25 year old child in the meal, or just say 'well son, spot has probably found a new home now' is a question I cannot answer. You have to keep in mind, the 25 year old living at home in his parent's RV is going to be the next meal. We all know that is just wrong, but there you go.
