Senate Democratic Leader Harry M. Reid (Nev.) sent a letter to Norton on March 5, 2002. The next day, the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana issued a $5,000 check to Reid's tax-exempt political group, the Searchlight Leadership Fund. A second Abramoff tribe also sent $5,000 to Reid's group. Reid ultimately received more than $66,000 in Abramoff-related donations from 2001 to 2004.

Seems the media is leaving this little tidbit out and only focusing on Rep links to paint a partisan picture.
Viva la NYTimes. We can always rely on the mainstream press to give us only the information they want us to have, just like a good little dem propaganda machine.

Ummmm.........WAPO ran the story. NYT ran the story. The networks ran the story. What MSM are you talking about that didn't run the story?

Probably your panties are in twist because the story was dropped once it was discovered that the original AP story left out certain facts that if included would render it a non-story.

Gee, lookie there, CNN reporting it. Wow. And all this timethe wingnuts have been insisting that CNN is MSM.

See you poor misguided Bush groupie, in order for corruption to have occurred there has to be quid pro quo. There was not one.

See, this is a Republican flavored scandal. The Repubs. took money directly from Abramoff. Abramoff never gave money to any Dem.

Tribal donations to Dems. dropped drastically after Abrmoff took over their business and was funnelled to Repubs.

Is it orange or cherry, the koolaid you drink? Bawhahahahahahah.

Little skrewt posts whines about the big bad MSM not covering his pet story when they in fact did.

Little skrewt tries to shift a Republcan scandal off on the Dems. when all the evidence says it is a Republican enterprise.

Little skrewt, the documented poster boy of koolaid drinking, whines that we are drinking koolaid.

Can the irony get anymore priceless?

spoken like a true independent......
or are you a progressive this week.
Maybe you jumped on the moderate bandwagon.
A lib by any other name is still a lib.
Libs make equivalent page 5, 1 paragraph blurbs with front page headline for weeks. This is their version of fair and balanced.
Dems make outrageous remarks all the time with hardly any report of it, yet a reps statements will be harped on for weeks.
This is just another case of downplaying the dem involvement while playing up the rep part in a story to skew public opinion. And you, like a good little koolaid drinker, lap it up willingly.
The Iraq war is a better example, dems can spend years ranting about WMD's and regime change, they can vote for the war, they can support the action with legislation and they are not brought to task when they run to the cameras to denounce the action.

I don't expect you to see the media bias, it's been there long enough to brainwash a whole class of pot heads like yourself.
