Well, she voted FOR the Patriot Act. So now she is surpised and mad at being wiretapped? Vote to give them the power and then expect them not to use it? Abso-freakin'-lutely BRILLIANT !!!!!!!!!!!
Her best defense may be that she is such an incompetent blithering idiot that she had NO IDEA what she voted for. (which, by the way, to some, may indicate she's unfit, along with her fellow YES voters, to hold office)

Wonder when they will realize, after passing the NDAA, that a black bag would fit on their empty heads, too?

Just another example of Socialist Democrats taking a necessary evil and making it even more evil. The Patriot Act was designed as a temporary measure due to our being vulnerable after being attacked by Islamic factions on September 11, 2001. Socialist Democrats under our dear leader, O'Bummer, are using the Patriot Act to create more BIG BROTHER government.

If NObama get re-elected, it will just get worse. You think Big brother is watching now, give it a year or two.
No one will be happy:whistle:

except for Ron Paul, of course, there is no move to repeal it by either the Republicrats or Demopublicans.
I say old Ross P. was right, "ain't a dime's worth of difference."

I'll agree with this. Ross Perot was a businessman, so what he said could not be tolerated by career politicians of any party.
Other then having unrealistic platforms and some dangerous ideas, Ron Paul isn't really much different either. The biggest problem with the entire Libertarian Party is that while some of their political points appeal to both leftist and far right minded voters, they only overall appeal to a relative few who are actual moderates.
For example, I am all for Ron Paul's ideology for getting the Federal government completely out of our social affairs, but I would never be able to support Ron Paul's ideology for not having a military influence in as many areas of the world as is possible. We simply cannot become isolationists without becoming a blind target incapable of moving out of the way of an attack.

non-interventionist foreign policy is not isolationism.
here is a dose of common sense from ten years ago, "Predictions in Due Time"

and, sure, if we get rid of all the airplanes, boats, submarines, and ICBM's we would be sitting ducks. all of which WILL happen when the country is bankrupted, a certainty by foolishly continuing on our present course.
so, in reality, it's the other candidates who are soft on a strong defense...wholly unrealistic and dangerous.

Nostradomis was also good at predicting the future based on observations of current events. While that is a very good thing to be able to do, it is not the only reason to elect a person as a leader. Ron Paul is good to have around as an advisor.
