I working on a heat pump that heats the water for an outdoor pool.
I'm looking for a simple t-stat that I can control the pump to keep the water between 80 to 90 degrees. I've got a 10k ohm temperature sensor already installed into the water system. A Honeywell focus pro with a remote sensor should work because it works with a 10k ohm sensor but its a little more than I want to spend & I'm not sure if it would hold up outside by the pool where they want the t-stat. This is a family job & also a little experiment so cost is an issue & not liability. I just need a simple t-stat that I can wire to a remote sensor. It doesn't have to be wireless either.
Any ideas welcome

You can set it to close on a rise or fall in temperature, adjustable setpoint and differential.

That would be perfect except the sensor is rated at 30k ohms.
Since there is already a 10k ohm sensor in the water line I'd love to be able to use it without doing any plumbing. I might still be able to make it work if I could figure an easy way to make a well in the water line to put the sensor in that comes with that t-stat.
