I'm considering a move from supermarket work to residential
and not sure what to expect on what i should make
in central Fla south of Tampa
I'm sure the work load i should be able to handle but not sure what i should ask for to start
been about 8 years since i was in the residential field and it was about 18 months before i took the step to supermarkets but i here that these zone system guys make alot more and with not getting called out at 1100 pm to go plug in a fan bank for walk/in bakery freezer
how tough do you think the transition will be and how long should it for me to get proficient with the new higher efficient systems with variable speed blowers and newer controls

Ohhh ~2 days for blower,

~ 12 days for controls because you will
see >> 6 different systems.
Of course, if you study and
review Now with tech associate that time would be less.

You should actually post this discussion in the appropriate HVAC-Talk forum.
