Found this at my uncle's house (I only do refrigeration). Is this a listed connector for oil?

There are flex lines made specifically for oil, I use them on boilers that have swing doors, and when installing a tiger loop. Read the tag that's on the line, it will tell you whether It's rated for oil, or for plumbing.

They do make flex oil lines that look like this but without reading the rating on the white tag it is hard to say.

that looks like one of the oil flex lines. I would have personally put the shut off at the coupler between the hose and copper line.

hard to tell form the pic,but it most likely is rated for oil.it looks like a buderus which is a swing door boiler.wish more installers did that.

Thanks, I'll check the tag. It just threw me when I saw it never having seen it used before.

I thought codes required a connector and lines that wouldn't fail in a fire.

Braided oil lines are approved here in MA, but we also have to have a firomatic at the burner and at the tank.

Those are legal oil connections in Massachusetts.

I don't know as I would leave it so you could trip over it. I would have clamped the envirotube to the floor and put a loopy thing in the hose.
